Kettledrums Classes



A kettledrum is a musical instrument of percussion that serious sounds that can be dry or resonant takes place. Together with the plates, they accentuate the rhythm of a piece.
It is formed mainly by a copper boiler, covered by a membrane. You can tune for what produces certain sounds (notes).

The kettledrums are of oriental origin and they were brought to West by the crusaders. In a principle, they were used in the military marches, or like accompaniment in parades.
