The percussion Instruments are a type of musical instrument whose sound originates hitting them or shaking them with the hand, a clapper, ramrod or bar on a membranous, metallic or wooden surface. They are, maybe, the oldest form in musical instruments. Some percussion instruments allow to produce melody and harmony, besides rhythm.
The percussion is distinguished for the variety of bells that it is able to take place and for its easiness of adaptation with other musical instruments. Most of the percussion instruments have a different bell, including the drums, each variety has a differentiated bell.
The bongóes (singular: bongo) they are, to say of Fernando Ortiz—the great etnologist and Cuban historian—“the most valuable synthesis in the evolution of the twin drums achieved by the Afro-Cuban music”. Its origin goes back to the oriental area of Cuba that jointly with the development of the they are, it reaches its form definitive and bigger splendor when arriving in Havana starting from 1909.
The Conga (or also called tumbadora), it is an instrument struck .Conga it is played directly with the hands. The one that strikes it, can make it, or, sat down or, well, of foot. It is habitual that the conga is presented by couples on a tripod like it happens with the timbaletas.
